The hotel is perfectly situated for a quick walk to the Botanic Garden or a visit to the zoo. The rooms, although a bit far from the elevator, were comfortable and well-designed, considering the allocated toiletries for my coworker. The service was outstanding, going above and beyond by assisting with a cancelled room and even informing us about a broken shower. The location is convenient and easily accessible, especially for Mountain Brook visitors, although the tired appearance could use a revamp. The dining experience, with a nice selection of breakfast items, was satisfactory. Facilities were adequate overall.
